Back in Atlanta For Another Cool Movie
Sony Pictures brought me down to Atlanta two weeks ago to spend a day on the set of Baby Driver, the upcoming action thriller from Edgar Wright. That’s all I’m allowed to say until closer to the release, and at the moment the heist picture has no release date but I’m guessing a March 2017 release.
I’m here again, writing this from the lobby of Lowes hotel on warm spring day in Atlanta for another movie I can’t talk about until early next year.
Where I Traveled in 2015
Cleaning office and closet, and going through countless documents and receipts, I had forgotten just how crazy and busy 2015 really was. From our main website being acquired, to my personal website being ripped from me, at least my career afforded me the chance to see cool places and meet cool people. Here’s where I went in 2015…
My Interview With Chris Pratt on The Set of Guardians of the Galaxy
The embargo lifted Friday so I can finally reveal that last September I traveled again to London’s Pinewood Studios to visit the set of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. I had traveled to the same place, stayed in the same hotel, all for the same studio the year prior for Thor: The Dark World so the formula was familiar.
First-Time Visit To Germany
For reasons I may not disclose I traveled to Berlin for the last two days, traveling through the Frankfurt airport for a layover on the way and currently waiting for a connection at Munich to head back to Canada.

A Dozen Best Memories & Adventures of 2013
Quick and easy, off the top of my head these are my favorite memories and cool things I was privileged enough to do throughout 2013.
Halloween Haunt Sucks
Every year or three I go to Canada’s Wonderland, usually only with a group of friends on a special corporate day or a day when we know we’re going to spend half the time in the waterpark. Since there are bigger (and better) rides at Cedar Point, Wonderland’s lost quite a bit of its wonder. It doesn’t help that Halloween Haunt – as we discovered last night – sucks.
That Time I Went To Asgard
Disney and Marvel Studios sent me on one of the coolest adventures of my life last October when I traveled to Shepparton Studios in London, England to visit the production of Thor: The Dark World.
Amsterdam Airport
I’ve completed my secret mission in London and have a layover in Amsterdam before flying to Toronto. Of course said flight is delayed so here I sit, in an Amsterdam Airport Starbucks, with limited free WiFi minutes remaining, realizing that although I’ve been up for a long time, it’s still early morning back home.
Ugh, maybe I’ll have to buy an internet package for the day.
I’m In London, Baby!
Left my house just after 10am Monday and arrived at a hotel in London near 9am (London time) the next day. If my sleep schedule weren’t so normally messed up, I’d be worried.
After eating breakfast/dinner I slept for most of the day then wrote the rest of the time from my hotel room, again not having time to do any fun touring or exploration. We did go out for dinner though and took this shot on the way back.
